1. Adjustment Layer & Clipping Mask (113)

You can also create an adjustment layer by clicking on the
adjustment layer icon at the bottom of the layers palette. It looks
like a little black and white cookie

Make an adjustment layer only effect the layer
directly underneath it, instead of all of the
layers underneath it, by applying a Clipping Mask

2. About The Hue Saturation Window

1. COLORIZE BOX: Clicking the "Colorize" box in the Hue
Saturation window will make your selections
monochromatic.

2. HUE SLIDER: Hue means color so adjusting that slider will
change the color of your selection

3. SATURATION SLIDER: Saturation is for making
colors DULL (muddy) or VIBRANT
.
4. LIGHTNESS SLIDER: The Lightness slider allows you to
change the value of your selection (make lighter or darker)

Save a copy of your file with layers before you flatten it in case
you want to make changes later. It is very difficult to edit a
Flattened (Single Layer) PS file so designers always
keep backup copies with layers.

4. Submit FLAT only through PUPIL PATH

1. Open/Save your 04Flat file

2. SAVE > AS and choose JPEG in the FORMAT drop down menu

3. Use PUPIL PATH to SEND your JPEG.
